It's a more unusual combination that your mum is a Mackem AND owns cotton socks.

I think this had been an excellent window.

All signings are good in their own right.

I think we can challenge top 4 again this season.

I actually think we might push a bit closer this season but if all depends on the others signings from here on in.

We have a very good starting 11 and some good backup.

    This kid has raw talent.

He will be one of the best left backs in world football.

We have some amazing talent now.

What a time to be a geordie.

Stuart Pearce thinks we’re gonna win the league this season! I’m getting on that ****ing bus me, whatever he’s smoking or drinking I’m having that!

In all seriousness tho, I’m ecstatic with this window. 1 player out (who needed to go this window to be fair) and we have 3 far better players for that position now. If we can finish top 4 again this year I’ll be ecstatic as CL footy is a sure fire way of increasing revenue quicker for us but I’ll be just as happy with Europa next year. Our aim should be to maintain European footy from here on in but at this rate we’ll be playing CL footy regularly within the next 3 years anyways.

Can’t wait for the game tomorrow now like, 2nd game of the season and KDB out, there won’t be a better time to turn those ****ers over, I just wish we were at home!

RW is urgent. Almiron has been dogs for too long. And seeing Lascelles warming up gave me palpitations.

Sadly Newcastle are done in the market..... not a disaster they've made more safe signings, but lack that bit of a spark anywhere from back to front.

I don't care what anyone says I'm happy to confess I was expecting far more exciting players, but at the same time I'm not complaining.

Supposedly we’ve saved money for January. Don’t understand why but hopefully we get that right centre back and a good quality right winger.

I'll probably be wrong but I think Newcastle have bought too much into what's worked so far potentially.

Howe as good as he is appears to want to avoid anything even remotely challenging or exciting, but at some point you'll get stuck in the mud doing that.

460 million spent and we've still got Almiron, Murphy and Dan Burn set to play the likes of Real Madrid never mind the the likes of dummett and Lacselles being an injury away from it.

Nick Pope needs replacing too because he can't do what is required with his feet.

Still one of the best sides in the country regardless.

Hard workers will only get you so far. Howe is in danger of becoming his own worst enemy. Almiron has been bad for a long time and if Howe thinks it’s ok because he has Murphy then I fear the worst.

Howe isn't going to be the guy to take Newcastle to the next level.. he's too no frills and has no experience with elite players... is this why he seeks to avoid them ?

He's a great manager for the here and now, ... he's a safe pair of hands and his side is an image of himself.

He's done a great job but he won't be here in 3 years.

Chaps we beat Villa 5-1 and only lost by 1 goal to Man City.

    Have some faith.

Miggy is fine for us where we are right now which is a top 6/7 club.
