Rich people never spend their own money - they don't have to because they can borrow using their own wealth as collateral. It's standard practice, but you then get some who go too far like the Glazers (put the debt from the purchase of Man Utd into the club's accounts) or Madrox (buy the club with it's own income)

I used to work for a company whereby you couldnt progress until you spent 6 months in the field experiencing hands on how it all worked in reality....its the right way in my opinion & ensures you respect every role

To highlight a very very similar situation we fond ourselves in, obviously on a completely different level

Spurs started with no out & out striker today due to the ongoing (no complete) saga of their top striker having 1 year left on his deal, they wanted him to stay, im sure tried all they could to get him to stay within means they thought were realistic.... gone all summer, play 1 up top, cant really bring his replacement in as what happens if the convince Kane to stay, who would come to be second choice.....i dont believe for one second Spurs have sat around & gone oh **** Kanes gone wtf are we going to do & a quality replacement will be sorted before end of window....with talks for his replacement gone on for months

Apart from our lad being injured... complicating is worse....its the same....Spurs are one of the top sides in PL & issue has gone on all summer...KLDs team are building this club back up...a hell of a lot harder

Also notice Liverpool playing without a real striker....im sure many clubs are in same boat....were further down food chain currently....until window closes before season starts...which it wont...its always going to be like this....maybe next season we already have had kids here for a year to hit ground running during that period....until then we are where we are & waiting for things to play out....clubs still in huge transition & being sorted out....as the saying goes Rome wasnt built in a day....all we can do is KTF
