Watched the highlights back. Tufan’s second goal epitomised the patient building from the back style of play Rosenior wants. Tufan dropped deep to link up with Seri, then floated a perfect ball to Coyle who gave it to Slater who drove forward and gave it to Tufan who scored a beauty on the edge of the box. When it comes off it looks great. Tufan got a hat-trick but did so much more than that. His work-rate has come on loads. He presses, drops deep when needed and then gets forward again into dangerous positions. His passing was a bit sloppy in pre-season and against Norwich but his vision and technique in passing and striking the ball is Prem level imo.

It’s an old rule but rarely applied, apparently. There’s a video of John Terry talking about Mourinho on Sky or BT (can’t remember which) and he said Mourinho knew about this rule where if two players on the same team go down with an injury, they don’t have to leave the field of play. Instead, play is halted until both receive treatment.

I’ve been saying all along, you could see straight away in his early performances he’s a cut above this level in terms of reading the game and seeing things. He also has prem level ball control skills but can be inconsistent with that unlike Seri who seems to have a perfect touch every time.
I reckon he’s the best and most complete player in the team and needs to be fit into the first 11.

I agree. The way he scans the game, his vision, his technique etc. is Prem level. People compared him to Koren last season. I honestly think he’s a better footballer than Koren in terms of his abilities.

That misses the point though.
I was with Askew and had anyone swung a punch it would have bound to have impacted people who wouldn’t have wanted to cause trouble, because in such a tightly contested area you’d either get hit or have to fight back to protect yourself. At the very least kids would have been at risk of being knocked over while people tried to get away from trouble.
No doubt you’d then end up in court from the cctv later on.
It was actually worse than described because the first 100 or so Wednesday fans had no Police near them at all.
What’s the point of a ****ing huge gate to stop fans mingling in the open when 200 yards later you’re put together in the most congested area possible.
It was **** policing.
The only reason nothing happened is because both sets of fans behaved decently.
We're lucky to have him... what did we pay for him and two on that performance what is he worth...?

I usually walk across the walkway to Argyle Street but got a lift yesterday instead. That’s shocking if true. I don’t know why the police thought it would be smart to escort away fans down there. The only reason I can think of is that the police started escorting the Wednesday fans that left early so they could get to the station quickly and kept escorting them down there even after City fans started leaving at full-time too.
It was a group of their fans that were leaving at the end.
It wasn’t even an escort really. There was just a very small number of Police (3 or 4 I’d think) wandering along with them about 2/3 of the way back down their line.
There were loads of them guarding the fence, but weren’t interested in the fans.
It would have been very easy to have a couple of coppers at the front of them, stop City fans going on to the bridge until they had all gone on then have a couple behind them. Simple. But they literally did nothing other than saunter along near the back of them.
There were far more Police at the other end of the bridge seemingly doing nothing but stopping traffic for people to cross over.

I think the goalie was trying to make a better angle for him to pass back to, but he just didn't look.
Not sure that I agree with this. Most of the time Lokilo took it inside and did not do much with it. Vaughan when he goes inside does it with pace and most of the time creates something.
Who was playing in the flip flops - or was that Tuesday?
Nothing quite like seeing it live from directly behind where he shot and watching it curl from outside the post to inside.

Dont the police grab the nearest fan to them and think that's an excuse to get away from the trouble?Great idea, also ban the ones that are there doing nothing whatsoever, that wouldn't be a first for plod.
