I love these long injury times. I can make a wager that the 4:30 Sunday kick offs will be moved soon so sky can still fit in their adverts between games.

The intention of the blackout is to make it so people won’t stay at home rather than go to the 3pm games. An over running early game that has already been selected presumably isn’t considered to have an impact on that

I believe it comes down to intention. You can't intentionally transmit a game which will finish after 2.45 (or start before 5.15). But if it unintentionally finishes after 2.45, that I think is allowed.

Even with the new regulations regarding injury time, I don't think that you could reasonably argue that anyone is intentionally expecting a match starting at 12.30 to finish after 2.45. That would require at least 30 minutes of injury time in total, which seems incredibly unlikely (unless there is something like a serious injury - but that is no different to previous seasons). More likely is something like yesterday, where there's a delay to KO (and even that is very rare).
