I love the way Brighton do it. They seem to have the best scouting system in the premier league. They’ve already brought in Dahoud. It looks like they’re on the verge of bringing in Kudus and possibly Lavia as well. Players replaced and pounds in the bank to keep building.
Yeah they're doing a remarkable job. They've not even spent much recently (however the players you mention will carry a fee)... it's the turd / diamond polishing scheme they have going on that boggles my mind. It can't continue, surely?
I don’t see why not. They use a data approach to recognise low value, obscure players that have huge potential. Whatever that is, it’s shown over time that it’s trusted and it works.
They’ve put themselves in the position and earned the right to now spend big on transfer fees. They’ve done it with zero risk to the clubs future.

Agreed. He’s a brilliant player. Way better than championship standard. He dominated the Leicester midfield.
