    Wasn't he in the last year of his contract?

    What really stands out is how, in the space of a couple of years, he went from being linked with us and Saltypool to joining Burnley

    I think that Rodwell did a lot of that damage himself, to be fair.
    He also had extensive injury problems, including six hamstring injuries in one season at Everton.
    Whether that's just unfortunate or bad management by his doctors and physios is unknown.
