At the end of the day I think it was the right decision to keep it going for 20000 ,a near annual re birth is a bit more special than a monthly one

Fantastic Hornette - you have made some great contributions to this Nest and the only Ak could have rivalled you for that honour - and he had the first post so it is fitting you have given us the 20,000

i'll second that! happy 20,000 posts to the nest! 
For my tuppence worth - and I don't feel strongly - I would either keep this Nest going after all or do the BBC thing and have a change every month or two. I prefer the latter as I think it refreshes things and adds fresh interest. For me this nest has gone on for too long and I always liked the new nests - but the argument for keeping this one is for those who care about record breaking. I am not sure I can see an argument for a second longish Nest but as I say these are just my opinions and not ones on which I feel strongly

the only way it affects me is when i'm on the mobile and i have to get to the end of the nest every time i want to post, but other than that, i don't see it makes much difference, and therefore...i don't mind either way! Meanwhile...i'm going to celebrate with a glass of wine!

No problem - thought it seemed a good time to discuss it while we were all here celebrating and I am not around so much nowadays but I have said all I want to and am happy to see what you all decide
