Growing up in London, the rivalry has always been Arsenal/Spurs, then more of the hooligan element was always Chelsea/Spurs, West Ham/Spurs, Millwall/Chelsea, Millwall/Everybody else.

One of the things about going to football in London, was that I'd often go and watch West Ham, Charlton (when they were at Selhurst park) or Millwall, when Arsenal were away up North and I couldn't afford to go. And that was true for lots of lads growing up in London, because basically you could choose between 3 or 4 different games on any given weekend if your team were playing away... (this is back in the days of pay at the turnstile)

Going to watch Chelsea or Spurs though in the home end, was always a massive no though.

Yes, It's probably one of the daftest rivalries in football, but it's Swindon Town and it all dates back decades...

The simple trick to avoiding it all is keep away from the railway station and the approach leading to and from the ground. Which I know can be difficult but go have a few beers after the game until the little shhites have all gone home.

Osimhen’s destined for a title winning club mate after winning the league with Napoli. He’ll cost about £150m too so no chance we’d even offer that, let alone then try and convince him to join.

I’ve seen brief links with David but nothing serious I don’t think. I think the plan is let Richarlison (<doh>) be first choice for half a season, try and sign Orban and then have Orban and Veliz battle it out to eventually displace Richarlison.

Sadly think you’re right.

What a dreadful plan and transfer window this has been. Only signed one centre back who will take time to get used to the league. Lost Kane right as the season is about to start and not got rid of most of the deadwood either.

Safe to say I’m not looking forward to the new season. Right now with a new manager (never tested in a decent league), unproven keeper and a rank rotten defence, I’d predict Spurs to finish around 12th :emoticon-0107-sweat

Manager is the best thing about us at the moment to be fair. Brought in so much positivity and style of football is massively enjoyable.

He's just getting let down and he's only been in the job two months.
 
I've got a feeling Kane will stay at Spurs.

Love Son to bits but he’s no Kane. Kane is ultra consistent where as Son can disappear for periods.

Losing Kane is a bitter blow to Spurs, it’s vintage Levy who will probably feel like he’s ‘won’ against Munich though (spoiler they won and he lost)

I’m not massively convinced by him. I like that he wants to play attacking football but I think there is a naivety about his tactics that could be exposed against the top sides and that Spurs could take some hidings this season by being so open. Ultimately I don’t think the players are good enough and none of the new signings particularly excite me and the defence still looks like it needs additional personnel.

I always thought Son was better without Kane. I thought the object of the game was to win trophies, yet you've never won trophies since Kane kicked a ball at WHL. Son is another one that should have moved on long ago, to get out of the headlights he was being blinded by with being Kane's lapdog.

Have always rated Son highly and thought he would easily slot in at a CL team.
He is getting on a bit now, but I would still have him at Chelsea any day of the week.
Am surprised none of the bigger clubs have ever made a move for Son.

Sadly I think Son has left it too late. Although it's got me thinking actually, who have Bayern Munich got there that will lick Kane's boots for him now.

Solomon and Maddison have looked really impressive, the latter we knew would be anyway as he's a very good player. Van de Ven isn't Dier or Sanchez and that alone is enough, albeit we should've gone for Tapsoba. Plus Udogie is here now and he looks brilliant. Vicario is the only one I'm dubious about.

As for manager and tactics, we've had three ultra conservative managers where their tactics didn't really do much for us, I'd rather enjoy watching a game of football, win or lose, than just be bored out of my life watching us sit back for 89 minutes. I think we'll be on the end of some hidings but also dish some out. We're gonna be like a Bielsa-Leeds side but with better players.
