I have always enjoyed a bet but only as fun, in my late teens i drank with two lads who thought they were real gamblers, horses and dogs.
Saturday afternoon they poured over the recent stats for both and bet loads on them, i used to go 40p e/w on the horses with them and 20p on the dogs. Most weekends i came out on top by 6 o 7 quid (sometimes a bit more) and they were both down.
The dogs made me laugh at them most because they both argued about which had had the last few outing and which had already beat other in the field and i just used to go trap 2 and trap 6 without knowing the name of any dog.
They once told me there was only 5 runners due to illness so i went trap 1 and 4 and still won and they both failed
The pigeons have fewer diseases.
Seagull as in a lad from Sunderland had a **** over one.
Seagulls are grotesque bastards.
How do you even pin one down to have a **** over?
I walk to the office now and again when it's nice out and they don't half go nuts when you're near "their" buildings.
