No it don't.
That was one of the most toxic atmospheres I’ve been involved in for years tonight. After a decent start, we made one mistake and the fans immediately jump on the players backs. This then snowballs and players begin hiding and we end up watching Ingram stand there with no options for 30+ seconds at a time.
There was 6k there tonight, I really do worry for Saturday when there’s 20+. All positivity seems to have been drained atm and it’s not from pre season performances because I could already sense this beforehand. I can’t help but feel the writing is on the wall for Liam, whilst I do have faith in him, I just don’t think we’re the right club. Too many fans set in their ways and unwilling to accept and adapt to a different style of play.
I really enjoy watching possession-based teams. It’s satisfying to watch a team patiently build up and create chances. Brighton, Man City and even Burnley last year play some really nice football that has them scoring goals being generally solid at the back too.
I just think the City job has come too fast and too soon for Rosenior. Like I said, probably needed a couple more years as an assistant to someone experienced who also played that style of football.

We’re 2 games into the season, it’s a process. Arsenal fans wanted Arteta out in his first year, chage doesn’t just happen overnight. Coincidentally they started to improve once he got his players in and could properly implement his style.
As fans we’re making Liams job 10x harder
