Yes. Me. I believe we should put out our strongest team in the cup. I don't always think that, but it's crucial that we win this tie. Imagine the impact it will have on the squad morale if we bomb out of the cup so early. Normally bad, but even worse for a team that's just been relegated & morale / confidence is already shot to pieces. Farke isn't daft. He knows that a huge part of his job is to reinvigorate the team & establish a winning mentality. We'll be crushed if we go out, & it'll ruin everything he's achieved to date.

Farke cannot afford to play most of the first choice players. Some good can come of this if we get bombed out and the 49ers wake up and realise how weak in depth we are. Shrewsbury will surely play their best team and would love to win. Some big strong men in their league who would take our kids apart.

 

I would like to see us treat this game with respect. We do need to try some others such as Darlow but the last thing we need is to get beat by a lower division side. It is too early in the season to throw games away and we haven't won a game yet plus it is at home so really need to get supporters on side early on in the season.
