Basically Rosenior's tactic was being out thought by McCann and his L2 players.

when managers were sent off at the weekend they werent allowed to go in the stands
could that be the same when banned?
maybe he has to sit in his office and watch it on a feed and communicate by radio or phone?
was he sat in the stand?

Exactly. If I wanted success and a football manager style "team to build up in Europe", I'd buy a club in a smaller league and make them dominate domestically. Like TNS, or Linfield, or KI Klaksvik. Then you just bank the money from playing in the qualifying rounds until you build a strong enough team to reach a group stage competition.

Even in the Europa Conference League, you get just under €3m for reaching the group stage, and then €500,000 per win and €160,000 for a draw.

The Champions League sees you get €5m for reaching the playoff round, €15m for reaching the group stage alone, and then €2.8m for every win. €900,000 for every draw.

Where do you think Acun, as a businessman, will see his money back quicker? Tens of millions spent on Hull City, or a few million on Shelbourne?

Acun wants the Premier league. Getting to the qualifying rounds of europe gets you nowt in comparison.
