They're literally our best players.

This isn't down to the personnel. Some of the lads tonight looked confused, it was like they were doing something in training and then all of a sudden something changed and they just didn't know what to do? Most of that team looked absolutely fine last season, there's no excuse for a performance like that.
I don’t care if they’re the greatest players in the World, they’re Acun’s overpriced signings & need to be got rid of, they’ve shown **** all in their ability to improve us, none of them are game changing players. If you bring Seri on, or Tufan, they don’t make the opponents fear them.

No, but we can be a championship equivalent of a Brentford or Brighton.

Yes but to do that you need to have players that are better than what we have at the moment. Just forcing players into positions and going "this is the style we are playing" doesn't work, Shota tried that.

Annoyingly, I don't think sacking the manager is the answer either. We absolutely do not want to be one of those teams that just cycles through managers every six months because they save the team and then look crap at the start of the new season. It did Watford no favours, or Derby, or Leeds.

Recruitment in forward areas is far from over, so I'm not panicking yet about the forward issues - I'll wait until 10 games after the window for that, but we aren't doing the things we did all the last half of last season well at the moment.
What may or may not happen in the transfer window, the fact it’s dragging on tells me it’ll be a scramble… regardless we have just been beaten by a l2 team and played poorly. Putting your eggs into the transfer basket is naive

I noticed that too and it makes it even worse. Heads dropping and negative body language in the second game of the season. Not good. Traoré and Connolly didn’t look happy when subbed off.

I like Rosenior a lot and I do want him to do well with us and a part of me is hoping he’ll turn it around and get us going but I just don’t see it. He’s too naive and talks too much without delivering. I started to question whether he was the right person for the job at the back end of last season but I still wanted to see what he could do with a full pre-season and summer transfer window. Well, pre-season performances looked like we regressed and tonight and against Norwich were the same. His transfers have been uninspiring and I think quality players at this level don’t want to come here and play under him.

Acun really should’ve pushed the boat and got Pedro Martins.

The players should be finding reasons to avoid the dressing room due to the fear of the tongue lashing they should be expecting. Somehow, I don't think that was the case.

Depends if they've been lined up early to complete when the parent club has a replacement or not.

If we start missing those then we may have a problem.

Tufan was our second highest goal scorer last season and a few short weeks ago this board praised him for the improvement in his fitness levels, his quality and his dedication.

How you can say neither player improves us when they replaced the likes of Cannon, Moncur and Honeyman is beyond me.

Right, I'm going to have a go at putting some positive spin on the evening.

Rosie sacrificed the cup run to push the point that we need to bring in additional players in key positions, and the performance tonight was aimed at demonstrating that.

I can make up other bullshit too, but I charge extra for that. <ok>

On DMD's post of attitude... has anyone stopped to think why Benji would want to leave a club where the owners dream and his dream was to play in the Premiership, perhaps the pinnacle of his career... the word catalyst springs to mind...

you cant wait like that
you'll end up looking foolish
go for players you can get
if a club thinks they can string you along they will
