Very much still a work in progress but some encouraging signs ... particularly in terms of possession - young midfielder who scored both our goals, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, is an academy prospect and has future club captain written all over him ... big opportunity for him to make his mark this season with Maddison and Tielemans gone ... also nice to see another academy lad, Kasey McAteer getting a run out on the wing ... club seem to rate him highly ... here's hoping he turns out to be another Harvey Barnes...

Young lad who scored Ipswich's winner, George Hirst, just been released by us after a couple of seasons on loan at Portsmouth and Ipswich ... old fashioned centre forward type and never really got an opportunity with us ...
