Hopefully be a good game don’t care who wins luckily for the neutral it’s the two best teams of last year that’s gonna be on show for the curtain raiser
I was looking forward to it then remembered it's just the lack of football for a few months messing with my brain and that this is just a glorified friendly and will be ****.

2 cracking goals by Leicester to win that. I think they’ll struggle against the quick counter attack this season unless they get some pace in that defence.

Very late to this but the rumours were that we were very much in for him and Sunderland and his family were clear in an answer of no, he's going anywhere yet. It'll be interesting to see where this goes in a couple of years as if you come up I'm sure he'll stay with you but if not then he'll be leaving and Newcastle is the obvious choice (given location and his family background), I'm pretty sure the club (Sunderland) would generally be against that but it is kind of different if everyone knows that he isn't a Sunderland fan in the first place - it's very different to the likes of Henderson or Pickford who I don't think would ever have come to us if there was any other options.
I was talking to his Dad the last time I was back home. We used to play football together and he just said that they knew Sunderland was the best place to be for him. He wasn’t that confident 6 month ago. If we don’t go up in a few year, then who knows but for now I can’t see him going anywhere even if another PL club comes calling. He’ll be in and out of the first team this season. I reckon he could make anything up to 10 starts in the league for us. Probably be used mostly from the bench.

Nope. Havertz is being used as left sided attacking midfielder, with a bit of freedom to roam. He's not a CF

Like Saff says, Nketiah will lead the line in the absence of Jesus.

Hopefully Balogun won't be sold now because that kid has got bags of potential and scored more than double than that chump Utd have just laid out £72m for
<whistle>
