I'm still well happy with what we've bought. We are obviously stuck from going out and spending a ****load because ffp and big wages for **** players, but, what are you going to do. Moan our arses over it all season or just enjoy it. I mean come on man, fourth! We couldn't have dreamed of champions league footy so soon. Let's see how this pans out, we might make it to a cup final or the knock out stages of the champions league, imagine that. We can but dream, we've got a canny team, good manager and a great club again. HWTL!

I mean, last Summer I was convinced we were at least two key players short of a decent season - we know how that ended up. So whilst I'm underwhelmed with two signings - though both are top players - I'll have to trust in Howe to know what he's doing, right?!

I just think we should use the platform; what good is a CL qualifying season, if the following year we exit at group stage and finish 8th? There's an argument that would suggest we could spend bigger next Summer, regardless, because of the FFP restrictions I suppose. All a balancing act.

Think Howe has Murphy in mind for CB/LB cover, happy with that and as for the Burn hatred I don't get it, we finished 4th and made a cup final and he played most games, just a thought.

Are we not wanting to improve? Right centre back, then left back, then right wing could be improved. After that you’re looking at better quality players than Bruno or Isak etc for first choice if not you look for young players who will become just as good if not better

By the looks of it we’ve signed and are continuing to sign a raft of youngsters that’s going under the radar. Kuol has a big year ahead of him, as does Minteh and Ashby. There’s then Anderson and Miley already with the first team squad and then a few more knocking on the door.

Maybe but you become the cheque book manager which rarely works, bring the youth on and get more out of existing players which Howe has done, and in Anderson, Miley, Longstaff and hopefully Murphy the future is bright but yeah a CB is needed.
