Just been reading on the Liverpool website about their digital tickets which I believe is the same system we know have.

Their faqs clearly state that the qr code is the back up option if nfc fails or you don't have a compatible device but both options work and you don't need an nfc compatible device.

It also mentions the ticket transferring is through the website with the same principle as ours should be.

Basically someone at safc has ballsed our comms up, you don't need nfc compatability and the qr code is and will always be there as its needed as back up if nfc breaks down.
If you turn NFC on then open the ticket it doesn't display the QR code. If you open tbe ticket with NFC turned off then the QR code is displayed so looks like both are available as options.

Which is exactly how Liverpools are. They even say the qr code is the back up if there are nfc issues.

If (as the club have hinted at) they turn off the qr code and the nfc network crashes how would you get in?

They would probably just open the gates like they did on Saturday.

Just checked my Gmail account and my daughters digital ticket arrived last night. That's despite me getting her a plastic card the other week. All details correct and added to my wallet no probs. Kids tickets are indeed pink.

Digital ticket sorted and in my wallet no issues. bright yellow and not just red and white seems a bit strange mind

Would have to de link the pass from my wallet and the family member would have to add it theirs. Then switch it back round after?

Pain in the arse that. Old card was just posted through the letter box ha
Wouldn't have to delink it at all. It can be in multiple at the same time but only used once per game

Aye thats what I thought, only way that might play up is on iPhone/Apple Watch there is an automatic selection option on digital tickets. Never tested it (plus I think the vendor needs to have enabled the option at their end), but automatic selection is enabled by default and the description is this:

"Automatically select this pass where it is required"

I guess if you have multiple season ticket passes on a single device it might use the wrong one, For anyone with multiple tickets on their phone I'd recommend disabling it just to be sure.

On iPhone, you need to open Apple Wallet, select the season ticket then click on the i for more information. It's the third option down just above the QR code.

On Apple Watch just click on the season ticket and scroll to the bottom.

Not got anything yet
Looks like I'll be ringing the ticket office then. Haven't got an email but in my account it shows my next match is Ipswich with an option to forward my ticket. My son's account doesn't even show him as a season ticket holder so no upcoming match.

Got mine last night, was pleasantly surprised as I'd already resigned myself to the annual pre season pilgrimage to da ticket office, and fun and games in the monotonous queue, courtesy of da black and white doormen.

Wunderbarre.
