I've just received an email with my eticket thingy (23:42) and I'm scared to do anything with it <yikes>
Bedtime now so I'll ask a young bairn tomorrow, who'll probably do it in a few seconds

Despite the club stating those with a plastic card won't get digital season cards, one of my mates has had 4 emails with digital cards for his 2 tickets and another lad with a plastic card has had 2 emails with digital tickets.

This is genius levels of mess
Yeh I’ve got a card and received a digital one as well at 9pm

A friend advised me yesterday about this . . . . I loaded one of last Saturday's tickets onto/into a google wallet that I didn't even have (the only options were apple & google), and it was gone into the ether !
I've 'always' had a Samsung wallet that I didn't know about, but that mustn't be compatible, so I downloaded/uploaded a google wallet yesterday, which is where my (yellow) season ticket is now (probably) :emoticon-0105-wink:

My other three tickets are cards, which I collected from The Stadium yesterday, and that only took about 20 minutes . . . . a young lass came out of the office, took our details and then distributed them when they'd been printed.

I particularly wanted to say this next bit . . . . as usual, the ticket office girls were very good/helpful :emoticon-0148-yes:

QR code worked for me without nfc for Mallorca game. Didn't have to tap the phone near anything in the same way I do to pay for stuff using my phone. Just had to show the qr code on the phone screen to the scanner about 4-6 inches away from the scanner. Be amazed if it's different on Sunday.
Just been reading on the Liverpool website about their digital tickets which I believe is the same system we know have.

Their faqs clearly state that the qr code is the back up option if nfc fails or you don't have a compatible device but both options work and you don't need an nfc compatible device.

It also mentions the ticket transferring is through the website with the same principle as ours should be.

Basically someone at safc has ballsed our comms up, you don't need nfc compatability and the qr code is and will always be there as its needed as back up if nfc breaks down.
