He gave him a lengthy four year deal too so it'll definitely be a nice payday if he's gone early. Would be a shame though, Ange seems to have a mix of Poch and Redknapp about him, Spurs fans have really taken to him already and the style of football in the first two pre-season games has been massively enjoyable as it's basically all out attack (in comparison to the ****e we've watched under Jose, Nuno and Conte) but the defensive weaknesses can be spotted by Stevie Wonder let alone the Spurs fanbase, if we don't strengthen with the right player there then we'll be entertaining to watch but likely involved in a lot of 3-2/ 4-3 losses.
I’d just for once love to see Spurs go into a new season without being obviously short somewhere. It seems now that a new centre back (of half decent quality) is dependent on Kane being sold. If Kane stays then I expect a deadline day return for Lenglet on a permanent deal for less than £10million. Ange won’t call Levy out. He knows he got the job because he was the right man for Levy but not Spurs.

Yeah financially it doesn’t affect them as much as it should but if people stay away and they notice less income on match days then it might (unlikely) make them realise people aren’t happy.
