Obvious choice is van dyke And Maybe mo as vice captain so he dont cry again Personally id go for vvd and trent A bit more responsibility would do trent the world of good imho plus hes a scouser. So thems my picks
Dont like keepers being captains myself. I feel you need ya captain outfield and able to get in the refs face when needed
Ahmed to take both roles! If he doesn't VVD to me is the obvious choice. Longshot candidate for VC that hasnt been mentioned is TAA, I know at one point he was selected by the players themselves to take over if Hendo/Milner were unavailable.
Ffs. I'm going for Virgil and Robbo. Virge because he's been third choice anyway so it's a natural step-up, and Robbo because he shouts a lot. I don't really see Trent as captain material just yet.
i think the players will vote a panel. I don't think we actually want robbo handing out fines in the dressing room as he might be a leader but he also looked a joker. salah for me is first in and last out so I'd go for him for vice captain and put him on the fines. vvd is too laid back. I don't think he will need about long enough anyway unless he's learned to run and tackle again rather than run away. alisson as gk is not a captain position you want someone who will give the refs and earful week in and week out and get away with it.
Virgil has just done the pre-match interview with Klopp It's definitely him as captain. I would like Alisson as vice but think it will be Robbo as he's already his national team's captain.
there will be a vote on this. when wijnaldum ****ed off to be another mercenary turd thst karma dealt with we had a vote. rainbow laces, old man time and the big man were voted in. however Trent, Robertson and Alisson were the next ones and were added to the senior group. I'd presume we will add a few more with a vote. there no reason why vvd won't be in that group again and I would suggest that trent and Robertson are likely to join him
When asked, Klopp said that he's got an idea who the captain is but he won't tell the press before he speaks to the players ... obviously. No mention of a vote but who knows, he may put names out there and ask the players to vote on those names.
Jordan Henderson is gone to learn Arabic .Jurgen Klopp is keeping his cards close to his chest in naming the new captain. Who do you think should be the new captain?
I'm fairly sure no manger would just take the players no 1 but I'm fairly sure there will be a captain's group or senior player group thst he will pick out of. just picking fernandes at utd for example is a woeful decision by the man utd soon to be ex manager I'm sure if there was a closed ballot by utd players not one would consider that whinging pile of no effort would not be anywhere near.
