I agree. Transfers fees aside, does anyone have an idea what our income is from sponsorships, ticket sales, TV money etc.? It seems we had a wage budget well over £10 million last season so I wonder just how much income we have coming into the club.
Did KLP sale go into last season or this seasons accounts..

I'd say 2/3rds of the championship are in a similar boat to us. Parachute teams and teams like Sunderland and Wednesday that have a big fanbase to call on can help themselves but even Wednesday struggle hence the reason Moore left allegedly.

The model is you find a few gems. sell them for 10x what you bought them for and replace now. Long gone are the days of mid table champ teams spending silly money
Unless youre Stoke...

I think it's imperative that we sell Oscar this window, we won't get more for him in the next 6/12 months than we will now.

He won't get the minutes this season. We aren't bringing in a **** load of strikers because we're happy with our current options.

I imagine Rosie is pretty torn on the issue, it's easy to see he's not ideal for how we play but it's a big risk losing the only player we have that has shown he can find the net regularly. Tufan chips in but none of the wingers have looked they will score very often so far.

I went to see Led Zeppelin at Newcastle and Sunderland and at both places the music was all anybody bothered about.
A few years later I saw them at Earls Court and people were going out mid song for ice creams!
Same at Elton John last month in Manchester
I like a drink but **** me
Old bag next to me spent more time getting drinks in Than seeing Elton and was paralytic by the end
And loads stuffing their faces too
Irritating as

Chelsea shifted Koulibaly, Kovačić, Mendy, Havertz and Loftus-Cheek for £138 million before June 30th this summer which means it goes on their 22-23 accounts instead of the 23-24 accounts. This helps their FFP situation since they spent so much in the 22-23 season.

I've been to loads of big concerts and when there's no seating people stand as close to the stage as possible and not eating or peeing for hours: eg. Wembley, The Oval, The Valley, Knebworth
Once, I think it was Knebworth, there were big fences keeping the plebs back while celebrities wandered around at the front
Before Rod Stewart and the Faces came on the crowd smashed the big fences down and the celebrities ran for it and we were all close to the stage!

I went to Bickershaw for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday
There were lots of bands like Family and Greatful Dead
On the friday night I slipped on some wood and fell in a muddy pool
I spent the rest of the weekend covered in mud!

I guess that will depend on the clubs valuation vs the offers which come in.

Yeah he'll command a lower fee next year all things being equal due to length of contract but another season of 13 or more goals will probably offset some of that depreciation and we get the value of his contribution to the team this year also, which in itself has a potential value to us.

I deffo wouldn't think it's so imperative to flog him to the point we don't get anywhere near his asking price. And we sold bowen in his last year for a decent enough fee largely because he was a goalscorer.

He had a purple patch at the start of the season which massively skews people's thinking. He dropped off a cliff afterwards and was largely anonymous in his last 30 or so games.

I'd rather judge him off 30 rather than 6.
