Considering they think only 50,000 people will turn up at Wembley tonight, which makes that about 40,000 under, it makes the North East look fairly passionate. It would be interesting to see what effect the 2008 Euro shambles and 2010 WC have had on the support though.
SJP was about 17000 under capacity, the game at Sunderland was a Sunday afternoon, myself personally I went to all of those games.
