Per transfermarkt Stewart can play across the front line and Piroe can be central or off the right. Would it be dreaming to get both if we are offloading other strikers and wide players

For example given they both have one year left on their contracts I’d expect us to be able to get both for the fee we get for either Sulemana or Tella. And that isn’t factoring in potentially selling both, Taul Paul and Che. But maybe that is veering too much into Football Manager style thinking. And relies on the players actually moving

I`ve just spoken to someone who spoke with Ross Stewart recently - he let slip after a few beers that he thought he`d end up at Saints. Martin tried to sign him previously at Swansea and MK apparently.

Yeah I would be okay with signing both but that would definitely mean we would have to shift Onuachu and Adams first in my personal opinion.

It goes back to my above point on whether he is our only striker signing. If he is then i agree. But I don’t think he should be given the fee shouldn’t be that high. He is valued under €3m on transfermarkt. The most I’ve seen people go over is triple when the club really doesn’t want to sell. But one year on the contract brings that down as well

It really should be possible to get him and Piroe. And play them both in the same system as well (on paper at least).
 
The most disappointing thing seems to be that the links with Piroe are all for Leeds and Leicester

I guess we should just hope he is one of those players who is prepared to wait for us to move players on. Although other than the manager I can’t see why he would if a definite offer comes from one of the others
 
Are people just putting 2+2 together re Martin and Piroe? Have we actually been linked to him anywhere reliable that I haven’t seen?

Only things I’ve seen is that Leicester are going to get him

Don’t know much about Stewart but he seems the one we are targeting.
