Two years I thinkFair enough considering he's only got a year left on his contract.

Because he's a proven goal scorer at this level? 10 goals in 13 games before he got injured last season. Can't for thr life of me believe in all honesty why we'd sign Ross Stewart, Out injured until mid/late September.

Sort of hoping it's a Piroe smokescreen/Stewart's agent trying to get more ££ on a renewal.
Per transfermarkt Stewart can play across the front line and Piroe can be central or off the right. Would it be dreaming to get both if we are offloading other strikers and wide playersMe too - This is the deal we should be pursuing. - But again he could be a player I suppose same as Stewart who know we want them but are waiting.

For example given they both have one year left on their contracts I’d expect us to be able to get both for the fee we get for either Sulemana or Tella. And that isn’t factoring in potentially selling both, Taul Paul and Che. But maybe that is veering too much into Football Manager style thinking. And relies on the players actually moving
It goes back to my above point on whether he is our only striker signing. If he is then i agree. But I don’t think he should be given the fee shouldn’t be that high. He is valued under €3m on transfermarkt. The most I’ve seen people go over is triple when the club really doesn’t want to sell. But one year on the contract brings that down as wellI don't want Stewart because he's made of glass.
I expect we are actively working on shifting Paul and I’m sure there will be a market for CheYeah I would be okay with signing both but that would definitely mean we would have to shift Onuachu and Adams first in my personal opinion.
I assumed this was going to be Sulemana which may have made some degree of sense. If no one was going to make sure we didn’t make a loss on him we would loan him, hope for promotion and have him back if we went up. And then we’d get the wages off the booksLoaning out one of our best players?, hmm makes sense...
