Some seem confused about who owns the club and makes the final decisions. Tan considered bringing back Morrison while Dalman was set on Bulut now seriously do you think Dalman went out and got Bulut without clearing it with Tan? As far as Ramsey is concerned the contract prepared by Dalman and Choo had to be put to Tan who endorsed it. We now have a new manager and new players but if they can`t win games or score goals that is not Tan`s fault unless you simply do not like the guy so are negative in every way and passing all the blame onto him.
Listen have you owned and run a club in the championship and got two promotions to the premiership, if not I could say you are naive but I wont. Well very few clubs are successful unless you only consider those who had promotion or top four in the premiership. Would you say Leicester were successful or Chelsea last season, the list of clubs who are not successful contain 90% of all clubs. Of course this is not the only forum moaning about how it is run most of the others are too. Still if fans want to moan the forums provide a good place to do it.
So we’re going to be in the top 6 shake up predominantly based on a cameo by Aaron Ramsey in a pre season friendly.
I set my sights on automatic promotion, it is hardly worth being in the shake up if we lose out. Most have low expectations while I have high expectations. I am expecting the team as a whole to perform to a high standard, to write them off before the season starts is jumping the gun. I am expecting us to beat Leeds. Dalman is excited, Bulut is excited and Tan is excited because despite having an embargo we have managed to bring in some good players, I am impressed and no down beat comments will affect my expectation.
It's what a forum is all about. Unfortunately, there seem to be some on one side of the spectrum who choose to criticise the other rather than just accepting an alternative viewpoint.
Have always believed we're all on the spectrum somewhere Roll on the start of the season when we can really start getting into it all eh??
Wonder how much we had to pay them???? Joking aside, I'd like to know what we did get for him just to see how big a loss we made again. Quite depressing in many respects as we got next to no value out of him whilst he was here and have probably only recouped a fraction of what he cost too. Just never settled or fitted in despite a few opportunities.
It is frustrating how badly wrong we regularly get it. Cant remember the last time we sold a player for more than we bought him for. Ken being the exception. But only because west brom got it far more badly wrong than we did.
Apart from Kieffer, mentioned by Sparkey, you are quite right we usually end up paying off their contracts and giving them away. Cornelius and Madine being prime examples. There are more but I can't be bothered to think.
A bold move if it can be done. He gets little game time at Bournemouth. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
Definitely made money on Mutch but not sure how the Chopra transactions finally worked out. Chops was back and fore to Sunderland on transfers/loans so many times before we brought him back. The money maths were difficult to work out, and I think I remember at the time often disputed.
