Al-Hilal will bid 200m euros (£173m) for Paris St-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and offer the France forward, 24, a two-year contract worth 200m euros a year, possibly with a release clause after a year solely reserved for a move to Real Madrid. (Tancredi Palmeri)

Absolute nuts. <laugh> Oh well English football has been doing it for decades and didn't care about the little clubs, so now the Saudi's have upped the bar, can't say I blame them, quite funny really.

Daniel Levy has been told that he must sell Harry Kane if he can't get him to sign a new contract.

The boyhood Arsenal fan could be on the radar for the Gunners in a cut price deal.

I really wish Kane would move, more for his own good, look around World football right now, all the ageing class players are moving. Although as I've said previously, knowing Harry's luck, Spurs will win a trophy as soon as he goes lol.

If this deal for Mbappe goes through European football is ****ed. It devalues the competitons straightaway. The Champions league will be as important as the league cup if the top players aren’t playing in it.

It's not all bad Saff, Sunderland or Gills in the Champions League, sounds good to me. <whistle>

It's a false economy ... proper footie fans will always follow their teams ... not indivudual players ... that Arab team my get more Arab and possibly Middle Eastern fans ... but they won't be selling millions of shirts in Europe and the rest of the world ...

You not familiar with how the PL became global?

People follow the money.

Mbappe don't wanna join us. Damn, man, thought we really stood a chance.

Should move onto Vini Jr now, might have more luck with that one.

From Swiss Ramble finance review published today - Good old Daniel Levy. Marina did ok too...

Four directors in the Premier League trousered more than £2m in 2021/22 with the highest amount paid to Tottenham’s Daniel Levy £3.3m, followed by Brighton’s Paul Barber £2.9m, West Ham’s Karren Brady £2.2m and an unnamed director at Liverpool £2.1m.

In addition, Chelsea made a £35m payment to Marina Granovskaia, who acted as Roman Abramovich’s lieutenant for many years, as a reward for her role in the club’s sale, though this was not included in the football club’s accounts.
