Saints fans really rated lavia as a bright spark in a poor season. I think for 50m you’d expect him to be ready for the first team now. He played most games when fit for saints as well so isn’t just a young prospect. Don’t see Colwill moving now. Chelsea won’t want to sell.

Hes not really set the Italian league on fire, either before or after the WC from what Ive read., BUT I don't watch the Italian league much if im honest, and all I can go by is the WC , in which he was outstanding. A better #6 than Tchachumie and Fernandez, truth be told. Almost as good as Rice, whom I personally rate as the best.

I reckon it's all paper talk on colwill. he might decide to not sign any deal where he is and end up sold to Brighton in January. but you know these players when agents convince them. chelsea will get him to renew then let him shrivel on the vine.
Villa signed Diaby. Coukd be an exciting signing. Although Bailey who they also signed from same club with similar reputation hasn’t quite lived up to the potential.
if that is really the price, then in this market its not awful. I think the 70mil number might be what palace will try for. The one thing I will say is palace have not sold anyone yet so they might do business to get the cash but who knows. I really don't think they will want to sell any more than we would want to. they only bought him last season and this is like a snatch and grab.
I'm kind of going to make a call here. I'm going to ball bullshit on lavia and dacoure and say lfc are more likely to sign a non specialist midfielder who could play multiple roles. what I see is macallister and Jones competing for one slot and szoboszlai and Elliott for the other 8 role. this for me seems risky and with the two kids having certain injury issued in the past I would thing lfc will want someone who could play both 6 and 8. this does leave the question of fabinhos replacement at issue. I just think it will he trent.
