Why do these lazy twats need lunch and tea breaks if they've hardly played?
if it's looking obvious that the weather is ****, then just adjust the times and have your 'break' when there's no chance of any play. Not "oh look the sun's finally out, but I'm rather peckish now".

How can you take a sport seriously where weather can determine an outcome.

I don't think football is totally immune to that to be honest, or plenty of other sports.

I mean it stops play altogether but whoever is winning then wins, that is stupid.

Mate the rain is good it's going to rip out the
English cricket fans hearts... it'll be a sea of their tears crying about how the rain saved the aussies even though they lost when it mattered previously.

That's not correct. Save for one day games it would mean the game was drawn.

If its a one day game other factors apply such as number of overs bowled, duckworth Lewis rules etc.

Not always. Depends on how long it rains etc.

At the top level i mean, you won't get a major being cut to 3 rounds instead of 4 for example, maybe way back when but not these days.

Fair enough, but that's not what I was replying to. He said it's about "where weather can determine an outcome". In which case I've seen goalkeepers score own goals because of very strong winds that have determined the match result.

But yeah, if you're saying a result can be partially determined by rain, then I get it.

It's stopped if lightning is in the area.
