bairstow has gone quite mad. entertaining but really needed? game 1 early decalration cost the game. game 4? no declaration. has game 1 been in their heads? they have enough now to bowl at anyway if they get the time to bowl.
I'm guessing England have decided they don't want to bat again. Or if they do, it'll be to chase less than 100
its going to rain. bairstow is absolutely destroying this lot. anderson is getting cold watching. rains to stop century?
argh..99 with everyone out. so sad. i hope that 50 is what makes an innings victory rather than a draw.
how many has Warner chopped onto his own stumps in this series? 3 or 4? more? given how many times Crawley missed them its just nuts.
I dunno. those 50 runs could be vital or a millstone. they were quick enough. but I would have expected them to think anderson wouldn't last long anyway
The weather forecast for both Saturday and Sunday is pretty rubbish so this will allow Australia to retain the ashes. I hope we do get some play as the weather conditions will be brilliant for swing bowling.
Tonorrow might be a wash out but Sunday should be a bit better I believe. Hopefully outfield isn’t too wet
small chance of play. if I were England I'd go rough these up and try bounce them out. they can't afford to wait and play 5 set up balls per over
