Yeah that's correct he was offered a Natwest account is what I heard as well.

Natwest's rep is so deep in the dirt they didn't feel he could make it any worse.

It does make the whole thing a bit ridiculous though, if you can offer one bank but not the other within your organisation.

I know the law changed 5 or 6 years ago, where the banks can now dip into your account at anytime, if they think an error has been made. Where the previous rules were they had to get your permission. We are just handing these fookers so much power now.

I've never banked personally with NatWest, so don't know what they are like, I sometimes get them confused with the black horse but that was Lloyds.

when hsbc closed my main account down they sent me a cheque (i think thats what they did). I believe you can take a cheque into a bank and cash it
The man is actually a millionair, can you imagine taking a cheque for £1mil plus into a bank and saying "i would like to cash this now please <laugh>

Would be funney if he took it into his old bank and said that, hard to refues him really since it's their cheque and they have his money :bandit:

They were decimated in the credit crunch. All part of RBS back then.

I've been with Lloyds since I was 18. Opened other accounts for other things, but old skool sticking with them as my main bank from that age. Still got some of the old cheque book stubbs, fck knows why.

3 years later (21) but snap. Never had a complaint or worry with them and get some good freebies with my account such as AA cover and "free" insurances.

Yeh I've never had any complaints. Solid bank, straightforward, easy to use for all sorts and just always been reliable.

Probably jinxed it now and find my account closed tomorrow <laugh>

This sounds well dodgy, what you been up to Bobby? <laugh>

wtf are cheques. :bandit:

I may have had some large ins and outs. This was around 2014 when they were being fined for helping with money laundering out in the u.s.

Banked with then for 9 years and then they just turf me out like that with no reasons. Their loss

They'll always have a voice and an audience. Social media has changed everything and that's not going to change.

Thankfully the vast majority will reject it.

Which in itself is some achievement given our electorate.

I guess the ones who want this sort of stuff will always be about. But count binface got about 200 votes, so his 700 hardly seems like an achievement. Just over 2% of the vote. It’s his hedge fund backers, slot on a TV ‘news’ show and how he hates LGBTQ that’s worrying.
