A couple of long term City fans, one of who I have known for 50 years and who was there in the days we were getting crowds of 3,000 was in Türkiye for both games. One of only about 10 for the first game. He was told to get himself down to the boat. The landlady of the Botanic.p told him he couldn’t get on as it was reserved for them. Acun hasn’t got much wrong but his courting of the Botanic lot under the mistaken impression they represent City’s loyalist, most dedicated fans is one of them.

He was also told to come for the meal that Acun was laying on for the Botanic brigade and left with an empty belly...Mrs Botanic said no!!

I think Smith and Jarvis have both looked every bit first team players so far this pre-season.

Cox looks decent as well.

Yeh Jarvis really making the most of these matches. He seems to have that killer instinct for goals that KLP and Bowen have, Vaughan is an exciting player but passing/assisting seems more instinctive for him. Great to see so many youngsters staking a claim.
