Yes under Bruce. Under EH however he’s a pure waste of a squad place
I'll miss ASM. He was a bright spark in an otherwise torrid time. If it benefits the team ill back the sale but I'll still be gutted
Barnes scores 3 times the amount for the same price... it's a no brainer but max should be remembered for being central to keeping the club up under Bruce otherwise who knows the Saudis may have gone elsewhere.

Amazing how so many forget that so quickly. For a long time he was one of the main reasons for attending games. Yes he’s erratic, yes he’s inconsistent, yes the team has moved on. What I can’t understand is why he’s getting so much grief from posters on here.
if he wasn’t erratic and inconsistent he would probably never have played for us and we would never have had those magical glimpses during the latter part of Ashley’s years. He would also be called Lionel Messi.
Ben Arfa got the same grief and it was undeserved for him as well. At least Max always tried.
