Great news on transfers, we signed another 18 year old Brazilian winger !! Thats about 12 we have now, though still no serious experienced striker nor midfield replacement for the 5 mids that have left.
The good news is, we should be the **** by 2030! lol It's ridiculous, I dont want to see any more players under 21 being signed! Its actually beginning to get on my goat now. Or Harry McGuire!
Oh I dunno, a blend of youth and experience, 10 x 18 year olds and Harry McGuire might go better than last years rabble. I get planning for the future, but don’t believe changing managers like your socks is any way to brink young talent on. So far Boehlys’ circus acts have him winning PLs “fire the manager” competition by miles.
Heres a weird one for you, signing 18 year old wingers seems to be a Chelsea specialty. Now one of our best 18 year old wingers is joining Barcelona on a free !!! Tudor Mendel- Idowu scored 13 goals, and set up 6 in 35 Games for our under 18s, represented England under 17s 4 times and scored 3 times.You couldn’t make it up.
Sounds about right. Spend 10 years training them up, loan them out half a dozen times, then sell them for pittance or worse yet, for free. Then buy them back for tens of millions 3-4 years later when they become world class. The tried and tested Chelsea method.
Equally weird is why the dope Lukaku keeps shooting himself in the foot! First he pisses off Chelsea, next he REALLY pisses off Inter, who wipe him from their plans, now Juve look like doing the same. Result?? We’re stuck with the muppett. Agreed The guys a ****ing ****** who burns bridges everywhere he goes. His first spell at Chelsea he wasnt prepared to fight for a place in the first team so we sold him. Then after Everton he goes to United, acts a twat there and gets sold to Inter. Then he does interviews saying he is Inter through and through and he cannot imagine playing for anyone else, but then as soon as we come along he begs Inter to let him come back here, so he comes back here, only a couple of months later whine to the press in Italy that he just wants to go back to Inter....then when Chelsea and Inter begin working something out to let him go back there, he starts playing footsie with Juventus!! ****ing moron, I hope I never see him grace the field for us again.
Yeah not sure what to make of our squad so far. We’re crying out for a midfielder to partner Fernandez so if we aren’t going to get Caicedo, we need find someone else. Even then I still think we’re one short. Kovacic, Kante & RLC all gone and we haven’t replaced any yet. Not sure about our wide options either, Madueke & Mudryk completely untested and we’re still a striker and a keeper short. We’ve done well to get rid of so many unwanted players but at the minute we’re quite short and don’t seem to know who we want.
