I was of the mind we were playing games with the market, so as to dissuade clubs from thinking we were mega rich. Each day that passes with zero inbound - and, more importantly, zero ****ing outbound - erodes that thought.
GK - Pope, Karius, Dubravka, Gillespie. 7/10.
RB - Trippier, and a bunch of other bang average players. 5/10.
LB - Burn, Targett, Dummett, Lewis. 3/10.
LCB - Botman, Burn. 7/10 - be ok if we had a decent LB.
RCB - Schar, Lascelles. 6/10.
CDM - although we don't really play one, Tonali is strong, with Bruno able to cover. 9/10.
RCM - Bruno, Longstaff. 9/10.
LCM - Joelinton, Willock. 9/10.
LW - Gordon, ASM. 7/10.
CF - Isak, Wilson. 9/10.
RW - Almiron, Murphy. 7/10.
Defence needs urgent work. And we need an attacker. Nothing's really changed. LB, CB and RW needed in that order.
