Cause they've got **** all money to spend, their new m.o is to wait for a players contract to run out and then sign them on wages the club can't actually afford.
The day will come when they have to sell Gavi, Fati and Pedri as they wont be able to pay them the going rate eventually, as their wage bill will be too high to offer new contracts.

Or FFP will collapse and they can run up what debt they want, then write the debt off a-la Chelsea when they sell themselves off to a billionaire.

Think you will find it was the government that sold Chelsea off to a billionair this time for no decernable reason since the previous bilionair had his assets frozen.

They can't. They are a Registered Association. Meaning they are run by the 150,317 membership. I believe it is only possible to own 1 membership per person and you can't buy someone's membership.

Or at least I think that's how it works.

In theory they are the ultimate ffp club as the don't have a single rich backer to pump money in and are supposed rely on their incomes.

We had a couple of people leave our team and join a different team. Had good fun teasing them, calling them traitor, etc.

Then they got merged back into our team.. so the teasing began anew.

It’s sad because Ox Thiago and Keita looked like they were cracking players but just too much time injured
They all seemed to need games to get back into their stride too
Which led to inconsistency within the squad imho

for me it will be interesting to see how Keita’s injuries go now - his total disappearance coincided with Manes departure- I have said before, I believe there was way more to that transfer

prob never find out
