As some of you know, I do work with and alongside some very well known people.
I don't think people realise just how unbelievably nutty some folk are when it comes to the famous. I've had to fend off people claiming to have written some band's biggest tunes (this person was a diagnosed schizophrenic), some claiming that a singer was lying about his childhood sexual abuse, through to people claiming to have been married to someone in a past life. Then you have people who are convinced said famous person is their destiny and they're going to get married. There's a LOT of them.
I mean, crazies really, really, really do flock to famous people. Like you probably wouldn't believe. So for a first move to be a suspension (particularly with not a shred of presented evidence) really does open up a world of stuff that is in no way good.
Due process is everything.

FFS there is more information to be gathered and carefully considered before any action if any is taken.
I am astonished over this matter given that there are people who would have the presenter dragged into the streets and lynched without first thoroughly investigating the details from both sides fully.
I am also astonished at the parents in this case who thought that going to the Sun with their accusations was in the best interest of their child.

Now again it’s all pending investigation, but that the alleged victim themselves asked a legal team to release a statement contradicting the parents allegations shows how contentious it is.
Yet allegedly some Conservative MPs are thinking about using parliamentary privilege to name the presenter. Hopefully that doesn’t happen as it will undermine any investigation and probably endanger the person being investigated.
It's a little known fact that it was me who wrote Dark Side Of The Moon, but David (Dave) Gilmour did help with some of the chord progressions. I've had no recognition and nothing in the way of royalties although I've had my people contact Pink Floyd's people on many occasions. Apparently this is not the first time someone has had to go to court over song rights with Pink Floyd, so there is a bit of history with them stealing other people's music.

This is typical of the cynical scepticism that's widespread across the music industry.
Nope.
But he is convicted for fraud and openly profiteered.
How can you even attempt to defend someone like that.
If someone like that can convince you he is a decent bloke caught up in the system then I have some snake oil I'd like to pitch to you soon, you won't believe the benefits for a comparably low cost.
And I can get you several acres of The Moon, for a lot less than the usual asking price

Correct, just to expand, the 'dark side of the moon' isn't always dark. We always see the same face as the moon is tidally locked to the earth, so on a new moon to us, the dark side is actually a full moon and totally bright.
