Think the fee is actually 35 and Newcastle is pretty much a done deal.

Would take that tbf - given what him moving would take off the wage bill ... plus I also look at replacements coming through and we have a kid in the academy who Brenda played in pre-season friendlies a couple of years back when he was just 18 ... he's now 20 and had 2 impressive seasons in the academy ... Tawanda Mawasinhe ... plays left wing and was in the Zimbabwe sprint relay team at the Commonwealth Games ... quickest player at the club and may well now get an opportunity in the first team squad ... him and Daka together would be frighteningly pacey ...

I think fraser is part of the deal.

Unlikely but football is weird, who would have thought last season would have gone how it did.

Arsenal exceeded expectations, but we knew that Arteta was building something good. I think most people expected City to win the league, and with Newcastle's new owners they were always expected to do well. Chelsea were the big surprise ending up down in 12th was it ? Then again they had Fat Frank at the helm for a while <laugh>

Tottenham to reject 80 million for a 30 year old that's legs are about to go.

Wise

In todays football I'd need to measure that against transfer fees paid for other 30 year olds, can't be arsed to go look, but I guess some on here must know figures off the top of their head?

I'm guessing by Bayern's trophy haul they must know what they are doing, their trophy cabinet is bulging, unlike the Spurs dusty cupboard. :bandit:

If they sell him Levy will want Son up front and Maddison replacing Son as the deeper player so that he can pocket the cash. That's going to be funny.

Funny but also interesting thought, one more appealing than Kane staying at Spurs. Surely Kane realises it is time to fook off don't he!
