Love the trilogy, hated the Crystal Skull one.
Not gonna watch this....no Lucas, No Spielburg, an 80 year old Harrison Ford, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge who I cant stand.
And you just know its going to follow the latest trend of the old grizzled hero from days past being useless, cowardly, pissed off and past it while the younger, perfect female humiliates him and shames him with how awesome she is at everything with her 21st century girl boss power moves, even though the film is set in the 60's.
Doesnt even matter if the films set a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away, 21st century girl bosses rule!

Not so much a film of course, but an observation that the music world is so brilliant because the likes of George Michael (and Andrew Ridgely) existed in it. And would be a bit more **** if they hadn't.

Without social media, without ****e like x factor etc. etc. and all that current world bollocks.

Still can't believe Geroge Michael is ****ing dead actually, nearly seven year ffs. Ridiculous that he is.

It wasn't woke exactly, her back story covered why she was good at the things she was good at, she was just annoyingly smug doing it.
I didn't think the Crystal Skull was that bad tbh, Leboef was annoying but it was an Indiana Jones film throughout.

    Talking about westerns...watched...

    The long riders

    Last night.

Found it very dated tbh. Didn't age well. Why they didn't just keep all the siblings in the cast as brothers is a mystery tbh.

Still, quite entertaining in a spot who's related to who kind of a way.

Guardians of the Galaxy. Vol. 3

    Very good.

I'm at odds whether these or the Deadpool movies are the best Marvel output.

I'll go with GOTG just now.

    Until Deadpool 3 comes out.

    8/10

Not having The Power of The Dog in there is despicable.

Hell or High Water is a good shout as is The Nightingale.

Power of the Dog is, as I have previously said,a very mediocre film with great Cinematography.

    A 6 at best.

    Disagree completely, masterpiece imo.

No The Assassination of in your list either? I agree on No Country for a old Men though I'd have to drop Unforgiven tho get that in.

    Bone Tomahawk overrated imo btw.

Yes - really enjoyed it - watched it tonight - on Netflix ... rated it 8.5 as is also based on true events ...

Also watched The Outlaws ... a 4 would probably be generous ...

Aldo had already done The Good, The Bad ... I love Clint and the Man With No Name Trilogy plus The Outlaw Josey Wales are certainly in there for me ... as would be High Noon ... but I wanted to broaden the debate ... <cheers>
