In Harvey Barnes case we need to cut the wage bill (he's on 6 figs per week) plus get a good fee ... his sale will be all profit and likely over £40 million in total ... then we have a kid coming through that has been outstanding on the left wing for the development squad in the last 2 seasons ... and he's even quicker than Harvey ... and still only 20 ... so the time is right ... and that's footie

These comments did not age well. The last one in particular was clearly incorrect even at the time - Pope, Botman, Guimaraes and Jacob Murphy were obviously top 4 talents.

Everton should resign Richarlison, he would be a big loss for Spurs but it would be a good move for him
