Morning, pilgrims. Nothing again for me today, I'm afraid, as the action looks Lacking with a capital 'L' in my humble view. Good luck though if you do opt to wager.

The rest of the week looks much better though with Mr Henderson in particular set to unleash some useful types

Meanwhile, I see that Hill’s have unveiled their new ‘NH fantasy’ game which allows you to turn £2 into £100,000. Looks quite intriguing.

I am in full agreement on Hope Point Cyclonic and have backed him to win but i feel he is only the second best bet of the day as the best for me by far is
Fakenham 3.10 Morenito 7-4 but will shorten i think

Good luck all who play today

My first ever post after 'guesting' for a wee while now. Think this site is A1 as there is plenty of well informed comments, opinions and humour. (The spotlight threads are top drawer). Big up to Ron.

On to the all important part, my selections for today. Already flagged up is HOPE POINT Fak 2.10 - it beat Janets Pearl 15l. Janets Pearl beat Residence & Spa on Sat. Bernisdale beat Res & Spa 3/4l - that gives Hope Point every chance of beating Bernisdale imo. Just got the rest of the field to beat tho!

CAULFIELDS VENTURE Folk 1.30 - was 10l (4th) behind Christopher Wren (2nd) lto. Nicholls fav was 3rd. I think this race could work out well. Chris Wren won cosily yesterday. Set myself up for a fall (hopefully not the horses) but just following my instinct.

Hi to everyone

12.20 Lethal EW @ 16/1

Now we have a sprint handicap where a once raced horse is a short priced favourite, and as such I think we have some outstanding value prices on the rest of the field.

Lethal is a course and distance winner who has been showing plenty in defeat on this surface in recent times and more importantly has a nice enough middle to high draw. Luke Morris takes the ride and he should have him in the firing line from the off.

2.50 Mcconnell 100/30

This horse is a real course specialist and in this grade he can make that experience count. He is drawn nicely and he ticks plenty of boxes. Ours holds him on handicap marks, but I think Mcconnell is the better of the two on this surface.

Appraise system throws up Flying Pickets Southwell for a 2 point win today....outwith the system I feel Edgefour in the 2.30 at Folkestone is worthy of small investment.

Hi Followurinstinct im relatively new to this also.

Good luck to all. Especially me!

14. Had problems getting on here last night, said the site was down so couldnt put my Bet 365 4/1+ selections up and it would appear that COUNCELLORs price has gone, for what its worth here is what i wrote on Fugees last night:

Another day another dollar in the Bet 365 4/1+ races, which are once again on the AW at Southwell and are the 15.20 and 15.50 races.

In the first there are a number of well handicapped runners in with a shout, top weight BOLDENENKA 12/1 has C&D form and runs off a 6lb better mark than his last win here back in May. HORATIO CARTER is an interesting runner for his first outing on the AW with his 5lb claimer he runs off a mark of 63, his best form on turf has seen him win and place off a mark as high as 90 in much better company than is show here tommorrow and at his best has strong claims at odds of 12/1, COUNCELLOR is one that is dropping quickly down to a winning mark and displayed signs of doing so LTO when running on and making late headway and is 22lb better off than his last win in Class 2 Company over C&D and is a very attractive 20/1 and is my selection here.

All being well a free bet will be rolling over to the 15.50 were my selection is SPAHI who was running on LTO at Southwell over 8f when a close third beaten 2l, the extra distance here will be to his liking and regular stable jockey Danny Tudhope travels here for this ride, despite the trainer having two other runners and is my NAP today at odds of 11/2 to win.

Morning all, and welcome to you Followurinstinct... Nothing on show today to get me going, so another day of zipped pockets, which makes a change... <laugh>

Also one of the cards is from Fakenham, and nothing against the track but i couldn't hit a winner there if it was a 2 horse race... I always struggle to find any winners there for some reason... So that put me off for today also...

Nevermind as they say, much more racing follows tomorrow...

Good luck to any who indeed decide to part with any hard earned pounds... <cheers>
