I like watching him but ultimately he had very little end product and likes to pretend he's injured rather than track back.
Unpopular because Saint-Max is a fan favourite, or is apparently a fan favourite. Most seem to groan when he actually plays, so I am very surprised that suddenly people want him to stay. Think Max is **** personally. Think this Barnes is a tad overrated but, in todays market £40m is alright.
Saint-Maximin is another Taarabt/ Bolasie/ Adama. Someone with seemingly top class ability but zero idea how to actually use it. £10m player tops just like the others. Look forward to us offering £45m for him.
Manor Solomon is Spurs bound isn’t he? Son, Kulu, Gil and Solomon looking like the options for Spurs on the wings next season.
I don’t know much about him tbh, didn’t see to do much at Fulham though. I just hope he’s a player they actually wanted and not just signed because Levy saw a bargain. Worried about the defence. Need to sign at least 2 CBs and get rid of 3 and things seem slow atm.
Sounds like Ange is signing off on all deals. Spoke to Maddison and Vicario before they joined so presume it’s similar with Solomon. Probably convenient for Levy that he’s a freebie though. CBs will get done. Club knows we need it. Just depends on who we actually get that’s of interest to me.
Yeah if the manager wants them then I’m fine with that. Hopefully they’ve learnt not to sign players and then force them onto the manager. My fear is that Dier, Rodon and Sanchez are still Spurs players next season and because of that the club will only sign one player and not even the best option (Tapsoba) but Van De Ven or Tosin from Fulham
A bit OTT but in fairness he was ****ing good. I would take him to OT today if he was still 24 years old.
Spot on Man doesn't think, he just gets the ball and runs, or dribbles about the outside of the box. You can see others in great positions screaming at him, waving their arms. His eyes are firmly planted at his feet. They're not the attributes of a top player. A midtable club will enjoy him, he was good enough for us when we were hovering about 12th spot. Everton, Palace, someone like that.
Came up through our youth ranks and good luck to him wherever he goes ... certainly one of the top earners and we are cutting our cloth accordingly... would be a great signing for Newcastle
It’s good to know that all of these players who you said wouldn’t leave are now going with your blessings
Barnes is good and has potential to be very good. I agree on Saint Max, end of the day there's very little end product there.
