Great score line it would have been a mighty shame if a team from the Middle East qualified for a European tournament final 3-0 Jew are ya Jew are ya Jew not singin Jew not singin Jew not singin anymore Jew not singin anymore
Spain 5-1 with still about 15 mins to play A Ruiz (17') O Sancet (24') A Blanco (54') A Oroz (68') S Gómez Martin (78') Should be an entertaining final versus England.
Boy follows team orders and hands it to the assigned taker. My main issue with Gordon is that I worry he's too arrogant (based on very limited data in fairness, mostly just his face and crap haircut) so I was pretty happy when he handed it straight over. He does seem to go down easily, though it's a challenge to find Premiership wingers who don't.
I've got no problem with Gordon apart from his diving, although tbph I couldn't decide one way or another if he did dive for the decision and neither could the officials, so they rightfully awarded the penalty. All I could think of when he handed Gibbs-White the ball was, Pep would be having an absolute fit right now, if that was his team, shouting the words 'this is business!' - and Pep would have been right, because GW didn't just miss it, a blind man stood more chance of scoring lol. Anway back to the diving, the Italian will be diving all over the shop if the rest of Italian football is anything to go by, and it could certainly lead Gordon down a wrong path, although I expect Mr Howe to disagree with me, while his team is playing out the rest of the 89 mins through time wasting, after getting a first minute goal.
I wasn't a fan of the time-wasting and general ****-housing. Then I saw Arteta have an absolute meltdown on the sidelines in our game at the Emirates and changed my mind.
I'm quite looking forward to the final, I glad we are playing Spain though, even if they are the tougher opposition, Ukraine v England would have bored me to tears. Hopefully we get another Portugal style clash, with England having to defend for their lives and a 1-0 lead - although I might be a nervous wreck after.
Yup ... me too ... Luke Thomas (one of ours) No 3, played well tonight and hopefully will keep his place for the final
I think Luke might have replaced Aarons (Norwich) who picked up a yellow in the last game (Portugal) so had to miss the semi-final.
