Any one know what the parking is like at Gateshead stadium for the game this Saturday?
Not a clue on parking mate unfortunately but there are still tickets available home and away fans so hopefully not too busy. Can you park at one of the Metro stations and then get through that way? Park at the SoL car park and get on the Metro there maybe?

It will be half and half games with Gateshead and Shields. Ballard in one and Batth in the other. Roberts in one and Clarke in the other one etc. Won't be full strength in either. Mowbray said one was a late morning KO and the other was 2pm so the coaching staff could get through and watch them both.

I reckon we will field at least 18 players in each game. Joking aside I'm hoping I get to see Jobe and Semedo, but that's probably wishful thinking
Definitely a full side and full subs will be used but flip a coin as to who will be playing at what ground. Hopefully you get to see the lads you mention.

We are away in the lakes for the Mallorca game at home so will miss out on that one, the bairn is gutted <laugh>.
Will be more or less a full strength team by then.

I was trying to work out possible teams since its 2 different starting line ups, thinking something like this:

Patto
Huggins baath (c) onien taylor
Lihadji ekwah matete clarke
Ba pritchard

Bass
Gooch (c) Johnson ballard anderson
Roberts neil rigg jewi
Jobe
Semedo

Subs
Ukrainian lad
Kelly
Watson

Not sure what other lads will make the subs bench as havent seen any of the other youngsters training with the 1st team squad - i havent seen watson training with them, unsure if hes injured or not

Ahead of our first preseason game against South Shields, their manager and former Sunderland player Julio Arca has spoken positively about Mogga and the Lads.

TONY PRAISE
“I exchanged a few texts with Tony. I spent some time between March and May with Sunderland helping Jewison Bennette learn the language and all that so I spent some time there. I know what Tony is like, I know the people working alongside him, good people who have done a fantastic job. If there is anyone you can learn from it’s definitely Tony, especially the way they’ve been playing.”

PATIENCE
“The main thing is just be yourself, do what you think is best for the team, try to play the way you want to play. Every process takes time so it might take some time to play the way we want to play but we will try. I think the players are prepared to try different things as well.”

LET EVERYONE PLAY
“They have got a split squad. We are more or less going to do the same because it’s our second game of pre-season. We are looking to play everyone. We might split the team for 45 minutes to give everyone time to play.”

BIGGEST GATE EVER

“It’s exciting for the club to have such a big club like Sunderland here, biggest gate ever apparently. There are going to be a lot of people, over 3,000 people, so we are looking forward to that.”
