I used to go over and watch them. He played centre mid when he was there and didn’t look good for them, neither. Dead ball specialist and that’s it.

Yeah I don’t see anything special about him. World hard and English but I don’t think he’s the level that will help Utd push on.

I'm just wondering at what point Bod realises I really don't give a **** <laugh>

I mean like you say, United are bloody awful for resales too lol

That's because they've reached the pinnacle at United and the only way is down. It's not even rocket science.

The only time we've sold players at peak is if Real Madrid have called. The rest don't want to step down ffs, and so we can't get decent money for them.

No idea probably the target they actually have as apposed to the what's in the media.
The truth is billions and billions is having little effect, so far. Players are still choosing other teams in the premier league over you.

Jurrien Timber for £36m looks like a done deal <ok>

Also apparently working on a deal for either Lavia or Caicedo (although the latter looks Chelsea bound)

And if neither of those materialise we could go in for Tchouameni. Although that might depend on what happens with Mbappe moving to Madrid

On top of Rice and Havertz, this is looking like one of the best transfer windows for Arsenal that I can remember in years.

Can't really agree with that when Newcastle went from 19th to 4th in 18 months, but obviously there's a long way to go before they'll beat clubs like pool to signings.

... then again, your memory ain't all that ... you forgot about signing Saliba for 3 years ... <laugh>

You’ve been spending bigger than City for the last 5 years. Half of the premier league have.

City have never spent 105m on a player. You paid the same amount of money for Havertz as City did for De Bruyne and more than they did for Haaland. It’s not what you spend, it’s how you spend it.
