Tonali by contrast just felt completely different.
I think something will just pop up probably better then we even expect and within a few days be done. I prefer it that way. I actually think it’s a mistake when clubs jump in out of the blue like Liverpool have. I look at Mudryk as a prime example of a club just assuming a player is right for them.

Too expensive and at the end of the day a player will choose Liverpool over Newcastle every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.
I've been reading the response to this and it like Newcastle think finishing 4th once means they can get every player they want.
Newcastle will pick up whatever scraps the bigger clubs don't fancy.
I think the issue is more that it appears we move incredibly slowly on these things and clubs seem to come in and beat us to the player.
They obviously tried and failed mate because Liverpool came in with more money and are a bigger draw.

Yep defo more on the way and again its becoming clearer if it's in the press for more than 48 hours it probably wont happen. Could be agent/clubs name dropping NUFC to boost their own coffers. Not saying that is the case with Szobo but certainly Maddison seemed to stem from January.
Yeah most Newcastle best work has gone under the radar until it's done.. if there's months of pissy links without anything developing it's safe to assume it won't happen.
