WTF is happening with Kane btw?
There is talk of a bid from Bayern, but then its reported he is constructing a new luxury mansion for his family in London that will be finished by the end of this year so I dont see him upping sticks and moving to Germany for a few years right when his house is completed.
Levy reportedly wont sell him to a PL "rival" yet Kane's contract runs out next summer, surely they wont let him go for free?
I really thought Kane would end up at Man United this summer but there isnt much to suggest United have shown any real interest beyond a couple of inquiries.
Are Spurs just keeping hold of him and hoping to dear god that he signs a new contract?

Got him locked in at the training ground under 24/7 armed guard. We’ve told the Germans they’ve got no chance of invading us.

    It's not that complex

Pay the asking price or **** off...that's the basic jist of things

Wether anyone thinks he's worth that price tag based on whatever reason is irrelevant

£100 mill and they can have him

Sadly after 15 years of winning nowt, he's in his comfort zone, and that means more to him than any silverware the club or even he might desire. He's like that faithful old dog, making himself at home on the rug, in front of an open fire...

I get that, but no one is gonna pay £100m for a player with a year left on his contract.
I mean, PSG or City might I guess, but neither of them have shown interest since last year.
He could end up leaving for free next summer, that'd be mental.

I think Levy would rather let him go for free...he won't get fan backlash then tbh

He can say he did everything to keep him

Personally if he goes, he goes...it's happening anyway

City already signed Kovacic from Chelsea remember. Maybe Pep will play Kalvin Phillips more next season. Who knows.

Easy really mate ... last season we made no signings and Brenda made the bloke running his contract down to leave on a free, captain ... was only going to end in one way ... admittedly I still thought we'd have enough to avoid relegation ...

This season we've shifted out the big time Charlie's and are bringing in players with a point to prove (mostly younger) ... a principle over the last decade that has served us well ...

The fan base was the footballing equivalent of clinically depressed this time last season ... in marked contrast there is now a bit of a buzz about the place again ...

Spurs need him next season. If he goes then big big trouble (relegation dogfight) imo.

I can't have that attitude towards a player we are losing in a year either way.

So relegation dogfight season after next if he leaves next summer?

Enjoy him while we have him i say. When the alternative is having Richarlison then every game Kane plays is a blessing.

I agree, you should sell and strengthen other areas of the squad while you have that kind of money.

That makes the most sense to me, right now, even with a year left, you could get between 70-85m for him I reckon.
Why not sell him and use that money to strengthen your squad so you dont end up in a relegation battle?
What would you prefer, finishing 6th next season, then being relegated the season after that when Kane leaves, or finishing 11th next season, then finishing back in the top half of the table the season after because you have invested money into the squad.

Premier League transfer window is proper mental. I'm of the opinion that if a player wants to go they should be instructed to put in a formal transfer request, the club should then be reasonable in their pricing and both parties can move on. Instead we get this ****ing nonsense every year.

If they get 2 good players with that money (this is why they employ scouts) then it could change their fortunes.

Spurs rarely make good signings though. They’d spunk the money on 2-3 flops. Just look at how much was wasted on Ndombele, Lo Celso & Richarlison. Also Davinson Sanchez cost £40million and has steadily got worse.

I still fear that Spurs will sign Harry Maguire

Fantasy footy time but if Spurs had sold Kane £80-90M bought McAllister to shore up the midfield and Maddison to give creativity and then used any remaining budget to take a chance on a striker would they be happy with that?

    No, lol.

MacAllister ain’t what we needed and we’ve already got Maddison now whilst still having Kane.
