i wasn't planning on getting this game bnut i might have to

Last time I felt confidence like this from Bethesda was Skyrim.

Always felt the Fallout 4 release was a bit subdued. But then again, I honestly feel Bethesda aren't really that into the Fallout franchise.

Enjoyed fallout 3 but that's it, and not amazingly enjoyed just enjoyed.

I actually enjoyed F3 and F4 a **** ton so like I'm not no doubt that this will be my next 5,000 he game

The only thing I'm nervous about is sometimes space games can be a bit overwhelming. Like there's too much space and what the **** do I even do next? <laugh>

Ill do it like skyrim.
Follow the main story until i come across a faction i want to take over then go do that.

Thats the joy of Bethesda games when they're good, can just wander off and spend hours doing not much at all.

Yeah, peak Bethesda

You turn up to a cabin in the woods, go in, have a nosey. Find a ****ing dungeon underneath, what went from a 2 minute check if a cabin becomes a 1hr adventure in a tomb

It's ****ing top notch

Yeah operate in the first system and learn the scope.

I played No Man's Sky and you can basically just fly where you want, when you want and land anywhere anytime. It was overwhelming

But Starfield seems to stick you to designated landing pads on planets to help you keep things in perspective and not blow your head

Just taking Skyrim as the lesson, there was tons of content in and around Riverwood..

Also thinking grav drive and engines as a priority for the ship, no way will an newby ship be any good in combat going to need to be able to get out of there fast. Looking forward to developing that though and getting good in combat as the game goes on, love the idea that you can board other ships kill everyone and keep the ship.

The ship building stuff is made for later game anyways so Tom Howard says.

Also you'll have to register any stolen ships if you want to modify or sell later on, works cos then you cant just stack riches selling stolen ships, you gotta pay a bit first. I like that

I read that ship building was for later but I wonder if you get a basic ship earlier on? Will have to wait and see I suppose. 2 things I'm not doing, 1. having parents that you can visit (even though I'm sure there's going to be an inheritance thing there). 2. The fanboy dickhead character.

Yeh you'll get a basic ship at at the start I would imagine

It'll be better.
Itll be different.

Fallout has the same mechanics as skyrim in essence just set in different worlds, i alwys preferred the elder scrolls lands and spells to fallouts wastelands and mutants

Im Expecting much the same from Starfield, same mechanics as skyrim and fallout basically with additions and improvements to suit the Starfield universe. Im not expecting spells or magic but perhaps some in game tech or skills you can aquire to do some gravity death grip **** like vader.

65 days til take off<party>

It's in the top corner near the widows cabin. There's a water crossing where you always get attacked by a mountain lion so go past the turn off for the cabin over the water crossing and then sharp right along the water edge you then come to an area where you can't go up any further, it's there.
