First game of season home to Watford switched to Vicarage Road because our pitch that Gareth has promised to keep nice by not playing any football on it isn’t ready even for aerial combat…..4 of our first 5 games away now. If we are on 7 points after them I’ll be both happy and surprised.

Think we did better away than at home last season.

You have a whole season to plan and get the pitch re-done within a specific timeframe. :emoticon-0181-fubar
Only at QPR! :emoticon-0138-think
I blame the old DoF. :bandit:

Let’s hope we don’t lose our confidence in the first month and instead come out all guns blazing with stunning victories and an open top bus parade at the end of August.

Just seen the same…was toying with actually going to that one as I’m off and full of new season optimism….glad I’m a way that I’ll now avoid the disappointment

Interesting video on the new sporting performance director on the Offy site. Certainly in control of things.
Noticeable that Willock looks to be blowing even though they’re only doing 50-60%. While Uncs is like a coiled spring wanting to get going.

Match of the Day Revisited is currently showing QPR v Man Utd from November 1977, a game which must have passed me by because I don't remember it at all. Dave Sexton managing Man U and the Rs side a shadow of that from two years earlier. I'm watching it not knowing what the score was - 1-1 at HT with our goal scored by Dave Needham (!).
