Milan has to be the most disappointing City I've been too, lots of pickpockets, street robbery and Africans stopping you all the time to buy the cheapest **** in town. We're 5 lads here for football and the piss, why the **** would I want a 4ft wooden giraffe.

What did you do with the giraffe in the end?

I don't really know what's so funny about it.

You can question how they got there as the main ground work was done pre FFP restrictions, and by means that you won't agree with - but the fact of the matter is that they are now printing money and FFP is not really a concern.

FFP isn't even too much of a concern for your lot (you have a fair bit of wiggle room on allowable losses), but your owners are so frightened of spending anything meaningful (which you need to be able to keep up), that before long someone will catch you up in the revenue stakes up from the chasing pack... and at that point if they've got deeper pockets it could be interesting.

Chelski are playing a risky game, but at least they're having a crack at it!
Frightened to spend isn't a phrase I'd use with John Henry, reluctant to spend would be more accurate. Spending cuts into profit.

You can buy him back from Blackpool or Stockport or wherever he ends up in a few years time having had zero first team minutes in his Manchester United career.
Think you will find young players get plenty of game time at United if they perform in training :emoticon-0105-wink:.

<laugh>

I honestly wouldn't care if we hadn't.

Unless he turns out to be a worldie in 3/4 yrs of course.

Hearing he's a real talent, do you know much about him?

He appears to be a potential top player in the England games he has played and he almost made his first team debut for us at 15 yrs old

Jadon Sancho was "poached" from us by Man City as a 14 yr old and never got a game, ended up in Germany and you bought him for over £80m and now want to sell him at half price

These young players would be better staying with clubs our size until they prove they can get proper game time with the bigger clubs

Man City stole Jadon Sancho from us and never gave him any game time, he then ended up in Germany and Man U paid £84m for him
I am always very wary of player from Dortmund, they seem to produce some fantastic players but the talent rarely seems to travel with them when they move (Haaland being a bit of an outlier, at least in his first season).
