sounds like a heap of fun there w_y :). i have a rare evening at home this evening and i'm going to make the most of it..and remind myself what my sofa feels lik! Out to see a friend in a play tomorrow night and early evening wednesday i'm out walking with a friend. Hmm, free on Thursday? Something wrong, 2 nights in a week!? lol...Saturday morning i'll be down the gogue, celebrating it's 25th anniversary before heading to the game, and then in the evening we have a bat mitzvah party! All go til work on Sunday!

Afternoon all - grey and overcast typical November day in West West London. Looking forward to this week, little Miss W_Y is home on Wednesday for the week-end, we have the goalkeepers Legends night on Thursday, Pompey at home and the West Herts Beer Festival on Saturday and then friends coming round on Saturday night....just need 3 points on Saturday to make it perfect!

Yep that would go down as a near perfect weekend! , you forgot winning the lottery and buying the club;)

Is bat mitzvah created so the girls can have a party as well?

Bat mitzvah as a concept is quite recent Ak, although records exist of girls being presented in the synagogue over two thousand years ago. There have been movements in eastern Europe to start something, but never succeeding. Funnily enough the b'nai mitzvah is celebrated when the child is deemed to have reached puberty, and this earlier for the girls.

Hornette, hope it goes well.

it's so that girls are treated the same as boys in the synagogue, but yes, that helps too! Though from my own experience, growing up and my own girls...girls don't get the same kind of presents that the boys get! lol

Is it because the boys lose a bit more than the girls? :emoticon-0107-sweat

BHD - I thought that was an everyday occurance at "that airport in that town"? After all, the relief of getting to the check in desk without being mugged or the victim of a drive by shooting is enough to send you over the edge...

Just goes to show how fast a manager can slide down the leagues - it was only a couple of seasons that Johnson was flying high at Brizzle and signing a ex-prem, ex-England goalkeeper in a blaze of publicity...

Evening all from Paris, as always I did too much walking whilst in Paris<yikes> It cannot be a coincidnece that when I am here I do so much walking, even though I got the Metro to the market, it is huge so hence too much walking:( worth it though as it was a beautiful day;)
Came back via the bricolage (DIY and everything shop) which is one of my favourite shops in the locality;) Looking for a barometer type thingy for her indoors, bloody expensive though<yikes> I bought a antique in the UK, which is not what she wanted, so back to plan C;)(whatever that is)<laugh>

Anyway le't see what tomorrow brings, foot permitting it is the Eiffel Tower<yikes>

Till then Nanu Nanu!;)
