can’t make a homemade Yorkshire pudding between them

I make a ****ing reet good yorkie.

Little pinch of baking soda in my batter, make sure the batter is nice and cold before going into screaming hot oil

My Granddad, and therefore loads of my aunts, uncles and cousins are from North Yorkshire, so I grew up on this ****. Round at my Auntie Mary's she'd make us a yorkshire pudding starter filled with gravy

Just one big **** off yorkie and gravy

Then a proper roastie <ok>

When you talk roasti, how do you do your roast potatoes?
can only be done by basting in the juices of the meat going with the meal imo.

Then after 10 minutes in the oven, get them out and crumble an oxo cube(s) over them, put em back in, jobs a good un.

Except Christmas, when they have to be done in goose fat

Absolutely.

Also after I've boiled the spuds, I put them in a colander with some flour and give them a shake, so that it fluffs up the edges

Then straight into screaming hot oil

Makes nice crispy roast potatoes.
